Folk är Folk is a music side project from John Lindqwister and Jonas Rasmusson. The band’s music has a nerve of it’s own. It’s melodic minimal synth with brilliant lyrics. Sung in Swedish with the easy recognizable amazing vocal of John Lindqwister and the great chords created by Jonas Rasmusson’s hands.
Most synth fans will recognize the names, as both of them are very well known, and successful synth artists from the Swedish synth scene. John Lindqwister is of course known from the bands Machinista and Cat Rapes Dog – and Jonas Rasmusson is known from the great duo Train To Spain (TTS).
