Mattias Lampa says: “I have been a die hard Depeche Mode fan for as long as I can remember, but in every love affair you sometimes get lost. What happened to me… well, I found my dads record collection with Stones, Neil Young and Springsteen etc. So, to make a long story short, I started a rock band called “Sweet Lou”, and we released 2 albums and a couple of singles, and toured mostly in Sweden, but also in Norway, Russia and The Netherlands. But, I always had electronic music popping up in my head, so when we split up the band, I began to write synth songs.
“Let Those People Talk” was the first track I wrote for this project, and I have more songs coming up. The early version of L.T.P.T was with me as vocalist, but it was like Lemmy Kilmister (from Motörhead) goes pop, not so good 🙂
I began to look for vocalists to collaborate with, first around my music friends, but after a while I was thinking: I want someone who has English as a native language. I found Kody from Nashville and Rob from Ireland and we hit it off. I produce the music in my own home studio. “Let Those People Talk” is mixed by Kevin Paul. “
