The band I:ronic Sweden is from – Sweden! More precisely from Småland county in South East Sweden.
Stig and Dan from Ironic Sweden met each other in May 2023. There was a good chemistry, talking about life and music. The band continues to evolve and are always on the road to explore music, that delivers a good vibe as well as telling a story.
About I:ronic Sweden
Dan Ritzen started his music-career in the late 90’s. Together with Fredrik Hansson they started a band called Obscene Inside, mostly just for fun.
In the mid 2000 he changed name of the project to “Ironic” and a self named EP went out on market in a extreme limited edition. In 2010 he changed name again to Ironic Sweden and produced a lot of songs in the years after that but nothing were ever released.
Finally the debut-EP “Player” were released in December 2017 in a very limited edition in 100 ex in both CD and vinyl. Several radio stations, both national and international, started to broadcast his music.
Dan is using a different technique to record his songs. The different sounds he use has often a touch of the 90’s, mixed with more modern sounds and beats to become something in between synth/pop and futurepop .
n the mid 2023 the band expanded with two more vocalists to add a new vibe to the music. Stefan and Tezz made the production of hits like ‘I Believe You’.
Since 2025 the band consists of Dan and Stefan, as Tezz decided to explore new adventures. Still the new tracks often has female vocals as the band now invites different talented vocalist to contribute and make sensational additions to the sound. The vibe and sound is always undergoing an evolution and the journey continues as Dan and Stefan searches high and low to capture a sound that makes people feel good.
